We hope everyone is enjoying Spring Break! Meet Aloe! Aloe came to Field in 11th grade and now she’s heading to Princeton University to study political science and evolutionary biology. Aloe comes from a Field family; her brother is in the Class of 2028 and her sister graduated in 2023. During her time at Field, Aloe has been part of Model UN and leads the Marine and Environmental Science Club. Keep reading to discover what she will miss most about Field.

Why did you choose to attend The Field School?
I chose to attend Field because of its small class sizes and emphasis on individual discovery through learning. The engaged and caring faculty encourage thoughtful academic exploration, and there are many opportunities for student leadership and diverse extracurricular activities.
What has been your favorite class at Field?
My favorite class has been Emerging Global Challenges with Jaclyn, my senior seminar history course. This class challenged me to think critically about contemporary global issues while developing my research and analytical skills. My favorite part was the in-class discussions, which allowed us to explore diverse perspectives and challenge our assumptions through engaging dialogue.

What has been your favorite memory at Field?
My favorite memory was our senior trip.
What will you miss most about Field?
I will miss the supportive environment where teachers are deeply supportive of both our growth and well-being. I will miss the kind relationships I made at Field and the sense of belonging I feel in the community.
How did Field prepare you for your next chapter?
Field prepared me for my next chapter by providing a rigorous academic foundation, fostering my emotional and social growth, offering me leadership opportunities, and equipping me with practical skills through experiences like the Internship program.
