What major or subject area are you planning to pursue in college?
Systems Engineering
What grade level did you enter Field?
7th
Why did you choose to attend The Field School?
I decided to go to Field in middle school mainly because of the small class sizes and resources /connections that Field offered. Before I got to Field, I wasn’t able to ask the teacher many questions because there were 30 other students in my class so they wouldn’t have time to answer mine. I came to Field because that was not an issue and it significantly increased my learning opportunities and contributed to my growing curiosity.
What has been your favorite class at Field?
My favorite class was 8th grade Geometry because that was during the Covid lockdown and after class we all played on Zoom and even got our teacher to join in as well.
What sports/clubs did you take part in at Field?
What has been your favorite memory at Field?
Giving my Co-Executive speech during the student government elections. It granted me the opportunity to face a fear of mine in public speaking and it’s an experience that I’ll never forget. That day will forever be a stepping stone for me to come out of my shell and become more comfortable speaking publicly.
What will you miss most about Field?
Due to the small community, bonds are tighter and you become more connected to the people around you.
What advice would you give future Field seniors?
Plan your schedule ahead of time because between assignments, applications, scholarships, Capstone, and extracurriculars; you find yourself not having much free time so the more organized you are, the less stressed you might be.
How did Field prepare you for your next chapter?
It prepared me to reach out and be my own biggest advocate. In life, you’re not going to get anything unless you ask for it and I was blessed to learn that from my time at Field.
