Happy Friday! We still have a few more Faculty Fridays left before the end of the school year. Meet John Andreae – one of our wonderful math teachers at Field. John teaches upper school students. He is originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee and graduated from Washington University in St. Louis. Keep reading to learn a really cool fun fact about John.

 

Where did you grow up?

Chattanooga, Tennessee 

What is your alma mater?

Washington University in St. Louis

What is your favorite book or podcast?

That's Messed Up: An SVU Podcast

What is something that people at The Field School might not know about you?

I was a springboard diver in high school and was the last person to place in 5 state high school swim meets. This led to an interest in the gymnastics club in college where I learned how to tumble.

What hobbies do you have outside of Field?

Finding the best burger and sandwich place in DC!

What is the first concert you ever attended?

The Black Eyed Peas

If you could share one piece of advice with your younger self, what would it be?

Go to office hours in college!! And get in more trouble.
