Happy Friday, Everyone! Meet Darcy Brewer – one of our science teachers at Field and this week’s Faculty Friday. Darcy teaches upper school students for chemistry and physics and he also coaches our cross country and track teams. He’s originally from Canada and loves to hike, bike, kayak and travel. Keep reading to learn something you probably didn't know about Darcy. Hint: It involves a deadly animal.

What is something that people at The Field School might not know about you?
I hunted and killed a 16ft deadly Black Mamba snake while in Africa and served it as curry.
What hobbies do you have outside of Field?
Hockey, Hiking, Biking, Kayaking, Traveling
What is the first concert you ever attended?
The Tragically Hip
Who inspires you and why?
My parents and my co-workers!
If you could share one piece of advice with your younger self, what would it be?
Don't lose the forest for the trees. Always think and do "Big Picture" meaningful things.
