Happy Thursday! Today’s Senior Spotlight is Allison. Allison has been at Field since 9th grade and in the Fall she’s heading to James Madison University to study Pre-Athletic Training. During her time at Field, Allison has been very involved in Field Athletics, playing soccer, lacrosse, and swimming. Keep reading to learn more about her favorite memory from her time at Field.
What major or subject area are you planning to pursue in college?
Pre-Athletic Training
Why did you choose to attend The Field School?
I chose Field for its size and teaching style.
What grade level did you enter at Field?
9th
What has been your favorite class at Field and why?
My favorite classes have been my English classes. All of them have been engaging. The class sizes allow for rich discussions about the literature and allow for close connections with my classmates.
What sports/clubs did you take part in at Field?
Varsity Soccer
Swimming
Varsity Lacrosse
What is your favorite memory from your time at Field?
My favorite memory from Field was when the girls' soccer team made it to the PVAC Finals in 2022. Even though we lost, the turn out from the community was amazing, and seeing everyone there to support us was great.
What will you miss most about Field?
I will miss the community: from the teachers to faculty, to students. Going to such a small school allows for really good connections and resources.
What is your advice for future Field seniors?
Take advantage of all opportunities: teachers, classes, school events, etc., and be nice to everyone.
