We are getting close to the end of our Senior Spotlights! Meet Lia. She came to Field in 9th grade and is heading to Colgate University in the fall. Lia says she chose Field because it seemed like a place where she could grow and learn. During her time at Field, Lia played Varsity Soccer, was part of the Peer Tutoring Club, and founded and co-led The Car Club! Keep reading to find out her favorite class at Field.

Why did you choose to attend The Field School?
The Field School seemed like a place where I could grow and learn, and experience a different environment than my middle school.
What has been your favorite class at Field and why?
My English 11 class. Kevin, our teacher, was passionate and incredible to learn from, and offered an amazing curriculum that taught me a lot and prepared me for future writing.
What sports/clubs did you take part in at Field?
What is your favorite memory from your time at Field?
It is hard to pick a favorite memory, but one that stands out is the car shows I organized with Sydney the past two years. Creating The Car Club, and then organizing two car shows, was not easy but was something I never knew I could do. It was super fun and rewarding.
What will you miss most about Field?
Field has given me the ability to discover my passions and explore areas that interest me. I'll miss that environment, as well as the overall community feeling I have felt at Field for the past 4 years.
What is your advice for future Field seniors?
Make sure to enjoy everything and take all the opportunities you can to be with your friends and have fun.
How did Field prepare you for your next chapter?
Field helped me develop much better writing skills, as well as learn a wide variety of skills needed in the future.
