Happy Friday! Today’s Senior Spotlight is Jared. Jared came to Field in 6th grade and now he’s heading to Syracuse University in the Fall to study marketing. During his time at Field, Jared has been very involved in athletics, playing multiple sports, including baseball, basketball, and soccer. What major or subject area are you planning to pursue in college?

Marketing

What grade level did you enter at Field?

6th

Why did you choose to attend The Field School?

I wanted the small-school environment and a personal connection with teachers. 

What has been your favorite class at Field and why?

My favorite class was History and Politics Through Film with David Kongstvedt, because it was different from every other history class I have taken. It was easy to stay engaged and the essays were fun to write. 

What sports/clubs did you take part in at Field?

What is your favorite memory from your time at Field?

I can’t choose one, but playing sports here has been very fun.

What will you miss most about Field?

I will miss playing sports with my friends. 

What is your advice for future Field seniors?

Enjoy the time and just get your work done on time.

How did Field prepare you for your next chapter?

Field has prepared me by challenging me to reach the next level in my work.
