What major or subject area are you planning to pursue in college?
International Relations and European Studies
What grade level did you enter at Field?
9th
Why did you choose to attend The Field School?
Because of Field's unique academic approach and the School's ability to see her as a whole person.
What has been your favorite class at Field and why?
Ninth grade history with Mary, 11th grade English with Kevin, and Ethics and Civics with Chris because they all tied current events into the curriculum. I also liked Algebra II with Alana because she started every class with an engaging activity—they were all great teachers.
What sports/clubs did you take part in at Field?
What will you miss most about Field?
The connections I’ve made with the community—my peers who have become lifelong friends, my teachers who took the time to get to know me and work with me individually when I needed it, and various faculty members that I got to know through my time at Field.
What is your advice for future Field seniors?
There are too many fun things to do and not enough time to do them. You will have to make some choices, hopefully ones in your best interest, but I have no doubt that other things will come up. That being said, although the workload seems scary, I promise it’s manageable and you will definitely get through it AND be able to do the fun stuff. Senior year is about getting into college AND making the most of your time and preserving those connections with the people around you.
How did Field prepare you for your next chapter?
Field taught me how to make interpersonal connections with my teachers and built my courage to forge similar relationships with future professors and in life beyond.
